Movilmax expects 2,000 WiMAX subs by year end BNamericas reports that Venezuelan mobile broadband operator Movilmax expects some 2,000 people to take up its special offer of a laptop and WiMAX-based broadband connectivity. According to the firm s CEO Dick Abanto, earlier this month Movilmax signed an agreement with US chipmaker Intel to launch the combined offering in Venezuela. The first stage of the agreement includes two or three laptops and our USB modem.
