Movilmax expects 2,000 WiMAX subs by year end BNamericas reports that Venezuelan mobile broadband operator Movilmax expects some 2,000 people to take up its special offer of a laptop and WiMAX-based broadband connectivity. According to the firm s CEO Dick Abanto, earlier this month Movilmax signed an agreement with US chipmaker Intel to launch the combined offering in Venezuela.
